How to make a pair of sweet little slipper boots!

Ok so first off you will need the template which is right here

Just enlarge it until it fits your feet (use a tape measure or a shoe instead of putting your feet all over your computer screen haah!)  and follow my video tutorial or the instructions on the template!

If you would like to purchase a pair handmade by me then follow onto my Etsy shop! If i do not have a colour in stock that you would like, feel free to message me! Make sure when purchasing include your size!

Here are the pair I made for my Mum as luminous pink isn't really her favourite colour. I used brown felt for the soles and an old felted cardigan as the main body (I doubled over the blue material as it was a little thin).

To make contrasting soles, cut the template down the 'fold' line and place the left side  on the different colour. Cut out each side of the template and sew together like usual including down the original 'fold' line. Be careful with extra seam allowance when cutting out for a contrasting sole...include an extra centimetre either side of the 'fold' line.

Its been a while since I've made a little creature, i started making them when i was about seventeen and my mum started selling her furniture in an antique shop. She let me put them in alongside her pieces and i sold a few. I also gave a couple away in a 'subscriber give-away' a couple of years ago on my youtube channel! I even received an email from a lady just the other week saying that the handmade toy i gave away to her is now her young daughters favourite cuddly, which is such a lovely thing!
However for about two years i haven't made any new little creatures which is a shame, so i had a bit of free time this afternoon and made this little guy! (I also made some slippers for my mum...see photos on my tumblr, but i will do a full post on those once i do a tutorial).
I have always named these creatures and this little guys name is Finnegan, I hope you like him!

Ok, so here are a few pieces of jewellery i have been working on, there are quite a few different pieces so if you have bought an item recently it will most likely be a one off! But I am trying to figure out which deigns I like best and make more than one of each, to end up with a collection- maybe it would be best to introduce themes- such as 'woodland creatures' and 'geometric' (for the earrings you can see below). So far all my items have been handmade by me, from the illustration to the shrinking of the plastic, so you know its been made with love!
Anyway, items similar to these will be available to purchase from my Etsy shop!
I intend to sell jewellery, knitted treats (once i finally get the time to sit down and do a spot of knitting) and anything my imagination comes up with, my shop will constantly be changing with different things so go take a peek if you need to get a unique gift,or just a little treat for yourself!

Hello there,

First off i would like to say Thank you for coming to my site and this is my first post to hellotiny.com, scary stuff!
It took me a while to actually decide what my first post should be...considering I've been so excited about getting this site up and running deciding on colours and themes... i didn't actually think what i should post first!

However, I have decided to introduce a tumblr account that i follow (and slightly obsess over)- 'Fashion, tools+motorcycles'.
I chose this blog as my first post as it mixes together such a range of items that i seem to fall in love with every time a new photograph is posted.
Whit, the lady behind 'Fashion, tools+motorcycles' said her blog is a mixture of "things that represent my lifestyle.  I’m a sucker for good design, things that make me feel like a kid again, and evaluating men and women’s outfit choices". Well, Whit i agree. I am a sucker for good design too and the pieces that make up the blog are brilliant, from simple lampshades to cable knit jumpers- if i ever need inspiration, or decide i must add to my infinite imaginary wish list, browsing this blog is the place to go. So take a look at 'Fashion, tools+motorcycles'.
